Burberry Unveils Beauty Box Concept

Burberry has introduced a new retail concept called Beauty Box in London, according to wwd.com. Located in Covent Garden, the new concept sells the brand’s makeup, fragrance and accessories. The store, which is set over two floors, features interactive technology, such as a digital “chandelier” made up of moving iPad screens suspended from the ceiling. A digital runway nail bar uses polishes embedded with RFID chips that allow customers to virtually test nail colors on different skin tones on a screen. The space also boasts oak herringbone-patterned floors and an embossed Burberry check motif on the walls. The company plans to roll out the Beauty Box concept to more locations.
