Coach Opens Reimagined New York Store
November 22, 2013
Coach has reopened its New York flagship at 79 Fifth Ave., according to wwd.com. After almost three months of construction, the unit has been revamped, marking the first step in a multi-tier plan to elevate the brand’s retail experience. The 3,720-sq.-ft. space first opened in 2000, and formerly mirrored the design of Coach’s other 350 U.S. units: open, white and sparse. The new look aims for a more intimate, luxurious feel with an emphasis on technology. Coach is using the new store as a “lab” for future in-store innovation. The brand’s next concept lab rolls out next week at the South Coast Plaza location in Costa Mesa, Calif.
