• Tampa, Fla.-based retail design firm api(+) recently partnered with The Wine Loft of Naples to develop a design for an existing two-level space in the Mercato development in North Naples, Fla.

  • An illuminated bar and glass wine vault set a relaxing mood upon entry.

  • api(+) designed each feature of the 3,780-sq.-ft. space to evoke a sophisticated, lounge-like atmosphere suited for business meetings, social gatherings and romantic occasions.

  • The Wine Loft of Naples’ owner Sarah Kearney challenged api(+) to build a 750-sq.-ft. mezzanine with lounge-style seating overlooking the main floor. It provides a unique vantage point for guests.

  • Articulated structural bracing over bar-height seating complement the illuminated bar, glass wine vault and overall atmosphere.

  • api(+) provided design, development and implementation services to satisfy the vision for the space.
