• BCV Architects designed Amour Vert’s Palo Alto location to reflect the company’s natural aesthetic.

  • A full height storefront celebrates the verticality of the space and is counter-balanced by freestanding, ladder-style shelving units that create walls of patterned fabric inside.

  • Amour Vert was founded on the belief that great fashion and social responsibility can coexist. The sustainable clothing company offers ethical products made in the USA that have a relaxed, yet sophisticated vibe.

  • BCV Architects worked with Amour Vert’s founder Christoph Frehsee and Four Quarter Design Studio to incorporated sculptural elements, custom Ash furniture made locally in the Bay Area, and simple graphics throughout to complement the store’s open, airy feel.

  • Large indoor plantings and an accent wall of air plants at the rear take advantage of the plentiful natural light in the store.
