• E-commerce brand Tuft & Needle opened a third retail location in Scottsdale, Ariz., with two other locations in Phoenix and San Francisco. The approximately 3,000 sq.-ft. contemporary space paints a new picture of a mattress store experience.

  • The design allows a guest to feel privacy and protected when trying out the mattress, while also maintaining sight lines for other guests and functionality for staff.

  • The space includes four semi-private rooms with signature queen-sized Tuft & Needle mattresses, connected by a figure-eight design, with simple, modern décor.

  • Like a work of art, the louver structure in the Scottsdale store was driven by the concept of dynamic privacy.

  • Honest brand materials—such as oak, white metal and concrete—create a modern palette to let the product, art, plants and daylight shine.
