Core States Group Expands St. Louis Headquarters

St. Louis, Mo.-based architecture and engineering consultant Core States Group has expanded its hometown branch with the help of Artisan Building Co. The $500,000 project entailed the renovation of the former St. Louis Hills Office Center to provide a collaborative workspace. The company plans to grow its team by 50 percent at the new site in the coming years. It grew by 36 percent in the last year.

“We always saw St. Louis as a growth market for Core States Group, but the Great Recession slowed our progress,” says Patrick T. Bennett, P.E., branch manager for Core States Group. “We’ve been able to re-energize our business plan with our seasoned staff, add more architects and engineers and are looking to add more.”

Spread across 5,000 sq. ft., the modern space on the second floor includes open offices and clear sight lines. Core States oversees 14 offices nationwide.
