LIM College Showcases Historical Fashion Vignettes

LIM College in New York has unveiled a new visual installation crafted by 17 visual merchandising students designed to take viewers back in time through vignettes. The fashion-forward set-ups trace the evolution of style from the early 1900s through the 1980s.

“The students’ work reflects not only what was happening in fashion during each decade, but also incorporates what was taking place culturally and politically,” says LIM professor Grailing King.
