Target to Open Small-Format Location in Herald Square

Minneapolis-based retailer Target has signed on to open a 43,000-sq.-ft. small-format location in New York’s Herald Square. Set to arrive this October, the location will be Target’s third such outpost in Manhattan. The two-level store will feature a modern design with concrete floors, wood wall planks, and LED ceiling and pendant lighting.

According to wwd.com, Target operates a total of 32 small-format locations with two additional New York stores in its pipeline. The company also has 30 new units slated to launch this year alone to reach its goal of 100 new stores by 2020.
