Kurt Salmon and VendorNet Form Strategic Alliance

VendorNet, Inc., a provider of cross-channel fulfillment technology, recently announced a strategic alliance with global management consulting firm, Kurt Salmon, to provide multi-channel retailers with collaborative consulting services and technology solutions. The alliance is focused on helping retailers transform traditional siloed business infrastructure into an integrated cross-channel sales and fulfillment business model to meet the increasing demands of multi-channel shoppers, according to a company press release.

“To succeed in today’s competitive retail landscape, retailers must evolve their channel-specific organizational business processes and structure, and disparate technology systems to present one face to the customer,” said John Seidl, partner at Kurt Salmon. “This can only be accomplished with a cohesive alignment of the business infrastructure and intelligent channel integration technology. Our alliance with VendorNet sets both in motion. Together, we offer retailers a strategic focal point for consulting services to address the organizational issues and the cross-channel technology needed to support this new business strategy.”

VendorNet and Kurt Salmon’s “Multi-Channel Assessment” program is designed to help transform the traditional multi-channel business model by tailoring best practices and cross-channel technology to a retailer’s unique requirements.

VendorNet and Kurt Salmon’s joint whitepaper titled, “Omni-Channel Retailing, The Next Generation of Multi-Channel” provides information on the new omni-channel paradigm. The white paper is available for download here.
