• Minneapolis-based Handsome Cycle Co. has created a traveling pop-up bike shop housed in a 20-ft. shipping container on a custom-built low-profile trailer.

  • One of Handsome Cycles core values is to make great bikes and service more accessible. This project was the solution to the mission to bring their bikes and knowledge to the people. They think bikes should be fun and not intimidating, so the pop-up is designed to be a welcoming and exciting experience for everyone, regardless of bike knowledge.

  • One side of the container fully opens and closes with custom installed hydraulic arms. There are full stairs going up to the container, inviting guests to come inside.

  • Handsome Cycles will be at many events throughout the summer, some focused on sales, like the Minnesota Mobile Market, some focused on bike repair. Handsome feels that there is great value in being able to perform repairs at the customers location. They work with businesses and organizations of all sizes to work on their employees or members bikes on-site while they work or gather for the day.

  • Depending on the event, the pop-up focuses on some or all of the following: increasing brand awareness, consumer education, activating our demo fleet, performing on-the-spot bike repairs, and selling merchandise.
