• Allen Edmonds opened a store in King of Prussia, Pa., designed by Southfield, Mich.-based JGA Inc. It focuses on its lifestyle offerings while honing in on the timeless, masculine essence of the brand.

  • Since 1922, Allen Edmonds has delivered innovation, handmade craftsmanship and unique American style and sensibility expressed through leather shoes, bags, belts and accessories.

  • This new 1,200-sq.-ft. store prototype is inspired by mid-century modern design and organized into a series of shopping zones that focus on each component of Allen Edmonds’ style offering.

  • A floor-to-ceiling étagère is the focal point of the store. It features the company’s high quality bag and attaché collection, other complementary small leather goods, and does so in a way that allows for a 360-degree view of the products.

  • A unique floor-to-ceiling display positions Allen Edmonds as the belt authority, presenting their vast inventory organized into an easy-to-shop cascade of product, with additional inventory housed within the display unit.

  • The store’s attention to detail is further highlighted through the use of a walnut ceiling system, providing a degree of warmth and intimacy to the highlighted dress shoe area. LED illuminated linen-wrapped shoe display shelves, marble and stone table surfaces for the weekend and casual shoes, and suede-wrapped panels lend a bit of softness and contrast to the otherwise streamline and angular architectural design.

  • Around the compact footprint of the store, customers find other feature displays for ties, exotic belts, cufflinks and shoe care.
