• Luxury plus-size retailer Toni Plus celebrated 25 years with a remodel at its first store in Toronto’s Bayview Village Shopping Centre. The new concept was created by Toronto-based design company Divia La Penna Design Studio Inc.  The custom brass door features a logo-inspired grill pattern laser cut from steel and powder coated in matte black and trimmed with a satin brass frame and brass logo plaque.

  • The perimeter of the store is paneled with a contemporary installation of traditional panel moulding in a deep pumice. Natural white oak wood flooring is combined with a black and white hexagonal tile.

  • The cash desk is clad in statuarietto marble and has a wide beveling on the ends and a satin brass kick plate providing a touch of warmth that creates balance.

  • The objective for the new concept stores was to create a luxurious and warm environment that would showcase the product and provide a comfortable atmosphere in which to shop.

  • The dressing rooms resemble a luxurious lounge area.

  • The neutral palette allows the fashion and accessories to stand out.
