MBH Architects Announce Indian Office, Promotion

Alameda, Calif.-based design firm MBH Architects has announced its expansion into India with the launch of a new office in Mumbai. The firm also announced the promotion of Reena Nadkarni to principal, taking on oversight of the new Mumbai office. A member of the MBH team since 2006, Nadkarni has focused in the retail design sector, spearheading projects for Tesla, Starbucks and Gap brands. A licensed architect in the United States and India, she will grow the 16-person practice in India while also maintaining her leadership role with MBH’s retail studio in California.

“Creating an office in my home country of India has opened so many doors—new services to offer our clients, opportunities for our staff to grow new relationships and explore different cultures, and a chance to see a worldwide presence for this firm I take so much pride in,” says Nadkarni.
