Chanel Launches New Shoe Store, Redesigns Three Outposts

Parisian luxury brand Chanel has introduced its first new shoes-only concept with an overhaul at the Ala Moana Center in Honolulu. Designed by Peter Marino, the redesign entailed two boutiques, the first of which houses a full line of items across 6,400 sq. ft. The second 1,100-sq.-ft. location hosts only footwear as a testament to the importance of the category, wwd.com reports.

Chanel also overhauled a location at the Mall at Short Hills, N.J., where it more than doubled its previous size. All three outposts are dressed in a sunset palette of pink, purple, and green and feature eclectic artwork as well as a 24-karat gold leaf display wall.
