Coach House Opens as Finale in 75th Anniversary Celebration

New York-based luxury retailer Coach has launched its largest shop in the world on Fifth Avenue in New York as the grand finale of its 75th anniversary celebration this year. Spanning three floors and 20,000 sq. ft., the Coach House features a radiant design from Bill Sofield of Studio Sofield that channels New York attitude and 1940s architecture.

In addition to an extensive array of brand offerings, the store houses a 12-foot-tall T-Rex dinosaur sculpture crafted by artist Billie Achilleos from Coach leathergoods. Vintage furniture, fire-engine-red rotary phones, and taxicab yellow banquettes also pop in the space alongside more striking artwork from Kurt Steger, Gary Baseman, and fashion photographer Steven Meisel.

Coach House will also be home to the first-of-its-kind Workshop, where a resident craftsman will provide special leather services.
