Selfridges Unveils Accessories Hall

London’s Selfridges department store has revealed the completion of its newly revamped accessories hall this week. Designed by local architect David Chipperfield, the new space is part of the $372 million overhaul of the store’s eastern wing. The total renovation is slated for completion in 2018 and will span 60,000 sq. ft., says wwd.com.

Clad with neo-classical columns, terrazzo floors, and touches of marble, glass, and warm lighting, the accessories hall is Selfridges’ third major opening of 2016 following its body studio and the designer studio.

The next phase will begin in November 2017.
