The North Face Introduces New Retail Concept

Alameda, Calif.-based outdoor brand The North Face has debuted its latest outpost in Palo Alto, Calif., marking the culmination of a yearlong retail concept test on both sides of the Atlantic. The test has led to the launch of a new modernized outdoor concept of “a progressive playground for explorers.”
Digital sky windows in the ceilings capture the progressive playground concept through artistic, atmospheric content curated through the installations. Social imagery has been infused alongside relevant products as well to bring the merchandise to life.
The North Face pilot store on London’s Regent Street debuted in October 2015, spanning 6,500 sq. ft. and featuring authentic materials to elevate the brand DNA.
