Torafu Architects Craft Aesop Store in Seoul

Tokyo-based Torafu Architects has designed the ninth outpost for Australian skincare brand Aesop in Seoul, South Korea. The 380-sq.-ft. space has been renovated but includes original details like its wooden ceiling trusses.

According to designboom.com, the store features a variety of mismatched materials, placing an external midnight blue tone against the interior’s warmer, off-white hues. Stainless steel fixtures and fittings are featured throughout and bear the same deep blue as the storefront. Large windows afford the space prominent curb appeal.
