Abercrombie & Fitch Introduce New Concept Overseas

New Albany, Ohio-based apparel retailer Abercrombie & Fitch has opened its newest international location in Hong Kong’s Harbour City. The new 6,800-sq.-ft. store is the first unit overseas to feature the brand’s new concept store, which is designed to maximize openness, comfort and technology.

According to wwd.com, the layout mirrors a prototype first revealed in February of this year at the Polaris Fashion Place in Columbus, Ohio. The storefront is clad with a window overlooking Victoria Harbor along with gender-neutral fitting rooms that include controls for lighting and music. Three individual suite-style rooms also are housed onsite.

The company operates roughly 1,050 stores.
