Clergerie Introduces Two New Boutiques


French footwear brand Clergerie has added two new boutiques to its retail lineup in New York and Paris. Designed by Milanese firm Vudafieri-Saverino Partners, both stores introduce new retail concepts to the company’s brick-and-mortar footprint, defined by a marriage of soft and hard elements that perpetuate an ongoing dialogue.

Storefronts greet visitors with façades representative of the brand’s urban sensibility, clad with aluminum slabs, as well as a chiseled design with a tartan motif inspired by a vintage Clergerie catalogue cover. Outfitted with a mixture of materials, the new stores exude sophistication with sculptural, suede leather panels and mirrors whose irregular lines contrast the glossy black shelving. Marble floors are detailed with small black and white squares that express a geometric motif beneath softly shaped blue armchairs.
