Miami to Develop Nation’s Largest Mall


The Miami-Dade county planning board has issued approval for the development of the American Dream Miami, which is slated to become the largest mall in the United States. Led by Canadian developer Triple Five, the $4 billion endeavor will span 500 acres and 6 million sq. ft. of entertainment including an artificial ski slope and an indoor water park. According to The Architect’s Newspaper, the design will comprise a singular volume that features high-rise glass hotels, rooftop amenities and undulating glass skylights.
