Natur & Nicolai Bergmann Reveals Tokyo Flagship

Danish jewelry brand Natur & Nicolai Bergmann has introduced its new Tokyo flagship in the city’s Minami-Aoyama neighborhood. Spread across three floors of a SANAA-designed building, the store includes a design from Copenhagen, Denmark-based design practice OEO Studio that highlights the company’s three designated jewelry ranges on each separate floor.

The sunlit interior includes a combination of upscale furniture and lighting while juxtaposing maximalism with minimalism. Materials and upholstery convey a contemporary sensibility through the space with a blend of solid oak and rose alongside hues of green. Crafted with ash and glass and supported with a powdercoated steel frame, bespoke jewelry cabinets reflect both Danish and Japanese craftsmanship and feature two different textiles as a backdrop for the pieces. Custom counters and pedestals for flowers are also appointed.
