rchmnd Opens Minimalist Halifax Store

Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada-based fashion retailer rchmnd has debuted a new outpost in its hometown along the historic Granville block. Designed by local firm Omar Gandhi Architects, the store features an all-white palette in partial homage to the neighborhood’s architecture, dezeen.com reports.

Glazing frames showcase products against white millwork, while recessed wall cavities throughout the interior provide room for hung clothing and shelves. The spaces are separated by shallow, column-like partitions, and feature double-tiered original moldings along the ceiling. Display benches span the center of the store as a mirror wall expands the dimensions of the space.
