Rinascente Introduces Roman Store

Milan-based retailer Rinascente has opened its newest location in Rome’s Via del Tritone, following 11 years of development. The department store reflects the brand’s name change from La Rinascente to Rinascente as well as new typography and imagery, wwd.com reports.

Spread across nine floors, the new store includes a third floor designed by Universal Design Studio to resemble a traditional Roman square, while architect Paolo Lucchetta conceived the fourth floor to host men’s apparel in a unique layout. Architect India Mahdavi concentrated design efforts for the layout of the women’s fashion floors on the fifth and sixth levels in collaboration with CLS Architetti.
