Ross Stores Celebrates 40 Store Openings This Quarter

Dublin, Calif.-based retailer Ross Stores has welcomed 30 new Ross Dress for Less locations along with 10 dd’s DISCOUNTS stores over September and October 2017. Spanning 22 states, the new locations round out the company’s growth plan for the fiscal year.

“This fall, we continued to expand our Ross and dd’s footprints across both new and existing markets, with nearly half of our Ross store openings in our newest market—the Midwest,” says Jim Fassio, president and chief development officer. “We now operate more than 1,400 Ross and more than 200 dd’s DISCOUNTS locations. Looking ahead, we continue to believe there is plenty of opportunity to further expand our store base given consumers’ ongoing focus on value, and remain confident that, over the long-term, Ross can grow to 2,000 locations and dd’s can become a chain of 500 stores.”
