Second Amazon Go Location to Open in Seattle

Seattle-based ecommerce and tech giant Amazon has announced plans to open a second Amazon Go store in its hometown at the new Madison Centre office tower. Curbed.com reports that the forthcoming, cashier-free store will open this fall spread across 3,000 sq. ft.—nearly twice as large as the original 1,800-sq.-ft. outpost. The existing framework of automated checkout machines and phone-scans upon entry will remain a key fixture.
