Southeastern Grocers Opens Eight New Fresco Y Más Stores


Jacksonville, Fla.-based supermarket chain Southeastern Grocers has launched seven new Fresco Y Más stores at former Winn-Dixie locations across Florida. The Hispanic concept now boasts 18 outposts, with the latest openings taking place in Hialeah, Hollywood, and Miami markets.

According to supermarketnews.com, the store layout includes unique corners such as a Latin butcher shop, in-store café, and a kitchen concept aptly named Cocina. Fresco Y Más stores also host a wider array of tropical produce.

Southeastern Grocers operates 750 locations.
