Tom Dixon Opens Flagship and Showroom in London

British designer Tom Dixon has launched a new flagship and showroom within a former Victorian coal yard in the King’s Cross section of London. Known as the Coal Office, the new location serves as part of the larger redevelopment in the area.

According to Dezeen, the 17,500-sq.-ft. space was refurbished by David Morley Architects, which retained the original brick walls to offset patches of coal-black wooden parquet. The building, which curves along the banks of Regent’s Canal, also will feature a café and restaurant opening in June 2018.
