Walmart to Offer Same-Day Grocery Delivery in New York


Bentonville, Ark.-based retail giant Walmart has announced that it will soon be offering same-day grocery deliveries across the five boroughs of New York through Jet.com. Jet, which was acquired by Walmart in 2016, is set to roll out a new fulfillment center in Bronx, N.Y. this fall, in order to honor the same-day delivery rollout. Bloomberg.com reports that the forthcoming center will house groceries as well as everyday essentials and merchandise.
