The Wharf Opens in Washington, D.C.


The first phase of The Wharf, Washington, D.C.’s new mixed-use complex, has opened to the public. Spanning 3.2 million sq. ft., the $2.5 billion waterfront development hosts residences, offices, dining, retail and a hotel across 10 acres.

The Wharf’s open air shopping hub District Square is home to a variety of stores and boutiques including local staples like Politics and Porse, Martha Spak, Gallery, Ligne Rose, A Beautiful Closet and d/Eleven. The cobblestone streets also are lined with CVS Health, BLINK Optical, Bella Moda Salon & Spa and more.
